With dance steps beyond the basics and well-adapted dancers, the continuing level of Fairy Tale Ballet and Tap is even more exciting and fun than the younger Fairy Tale classes.

Our current dancers are thrilled to be a part of the 5-6 Year Old Fairy Tale Ballet and Tap class here at the Christine Rich Studio Dance Academy!
In a beautiful dance classroom setting, 5 to 6 year olds become engaged in furthering their ballet foundation and enhancing their rhythmic tap skills.
Our proven track record teaches your child the art of ballet and tap while your talented dancer begins his or her bright dance future in the single subject studies of dance available for our older students such as jazz, acrobatics, and hip hop.
The 5-6 Year Old Fairy Tale Ballet and Tap class continues to teach your child proper dance class etiquette, focus, and manners that can prepare your son or daughter for not only more advanced dance lessons, but also better academic success inside and outside of school.
With the possibility of dancing at the ballet barres and learning dance steps only taught to the older students, our 5-6 year old dancers are always excited to take the continuing level of Fairy Tale Ballet and Tap each week.
The Fairy Tale program is the perfect way to teach your child all about dance within a short amount of time! There is no need to worry about spending too many hours at a dance studio because the 5-6 year old class meets only once a week for 45-minute dance lessons. With half the class devoted to ballet dance and the other half set aside for tap dancing, your children will learn to dance and show great improvement after only a few classes.
During the spring semester, the Fairy Tale dance training becomes even more fun when your child’s dancing skills are displayed in a very exciting recital dance routine! The 5-6 year old tap dance is a fan favorite every year at our May recital.
Both boys and girls have a wonderful time in this Fairy Tale class, and they love dressing like true dancers! As specified in our dress code, girls dancewear for Fairy Tale Ballet and Tap includes a plain leotard in solid pale pink, black, or white with white socks or tights and hair secured away from the face. Boy dancers wear a white fitted T-shirt with black bike shorts and white socks. For ballet class, ballet slippers are required to be worn, pink for girls and black for boys. Both boys and girls are allowed to wear Mary Jane style tap shoes for tap class.
For kids who live to dance or kids who want to try a new activity, the 5-6 Year Old Fairy Tale Ballet and Tap class has something to offer for everyone. Between the fun kids dance songs, the dance clothes, and the action packed class, each and every child leaves this dance class in a great mood.
