Where our dance students shine.
At the Christine Rich Studio, our annual dance recital showcase is a fun and valued experience for all of our students and families.
When students are enrolled for classes in the fall, they focus on improving dance technique. During the spring semester, the performing classes perfect exciting choreography for the spring dance recital showcase.
In the past we did huge performances over several days with days of dress rehearsals, but we found that many families wanted a less stressful approach. They really just wanted to see their child dance without the expense of costumes, applying stage makeup, multi-day schedules, volunteering and the recital ticket expense.
Now we do a recital showcase in May and families get to watch their dancer in group choreography up close.
For nostalgias’ sake, here is a look at our former recitals:
The show was always a huge hit with the entire community. Even the two-year-old class performed the infamous Christine Rich “Bumble Bee” dance every year, and every year it brought the audience to tears of joy.
The recital showcase is a great self-esteem booster!
